Jimmie Johnson Celebrates Sprint Cup Title in New York City

You have to be the dumbest person on the planet. How in the hell can you say any of the other drivers should have won the title any one of the last 4 years. What part do you dumd a**es not understand that it is still the same system other than for the start of the chase the drivers are all set with 5000 points and awarded for the races they have won with 10 bonus points per race win. If anything at all it makes for a more interesting final 10 races and keeps one driver from runing off with the points and wraping up the title with 2 or 3 races to go. For a driver and team to stand a chance they have to run good the first 26 races and that means they have to win races to get the 10 bonus points per race win and they also have to be consistant in their finishes those first 26 races. Not do like Kyle Busch did when he dominated the first 26 races and then when the chase started he blew an engin the first two races and sucked there after. For the rest of the times you are talking about and even the year Kyle Bush SUCKED Jimmie Johnson had the best all around stats then anyone in the chase, which means he was the best and everyone else was second best. If you want your driver to win the cup next year then you need to stop crying about what Hendrick and Jimmie is doing and start thinking about how they are going to beat the 48 team. And by the way when you see any of those drivers that you say should have beat Jimmie the past 4 years ask them who has been the best driver the past 4 years and they will tell you hands down Jimmie Johnson.

FINALLY, FINALLY, Finally! Someone gets it. Working on the car during a (so-called), red flag conditon. Not only that, but NASCAR even allowed the 48 to go back to his original spot on the race track BEFORE he came down pit road. Did you notice that? That way, when the red flag was lifted, and the cars in front of the 48 pitted, (legally), the 48 could move UP & grab those positions too. Them how about the shenanigans @ the TX track. When NASCAR actually LOWERED the minimum speed limit, (from 140 mph to 130), so the 48 could stay on the track. (I heard that over MY scanner). I keep telling people, most of the top-tier teams have radios with side bands on them. That piece of paper, with the radio frequencies on them, they give out as you enter the track, thats just for public consumption. The real deal is on those side bands, which most scanners can't pick up. Johnson was assured his place in history with the help of NASCAR, (courtesy of brainless Brian France & his petty dictator sister, Lisa, (France), Kennedy), the deep pockets of Rick Hendricks, & the efforts of Cheat Knauss.Don't think this is happening? Look what happened to Rick Mast. (winner of the 1st pole of the Brickyard 400) He team was fined, then they, (NASCAR), impounded the car, then fined again. Right out of existence.
