The timing of Jeff's first place finish, not second or 4th, couldn't have been any better. The reassuring victory for him and the team was the crutch that he needed to continue his consistent season so far...

i have never been much of a jeff gordon fan, because i had met him at a dupont funtion and thought him to be arrogant and narcissistic. however that was several years ago, i was wrong. give a man a new marriage a new outlook and a lovely child and his true happiness and self reliance has shown thru, it is great. jeff will now become a true icon of nascar, because it is now not the most important thing in his life. jeff gordon has grown up before our eyes folks

The only reason for me to turn the T.V. to watch NASCAR is Jeff Gordon. Sure, I love racing, any kind of racing, but to sit in front of the T.V. for three hours of racing is nuts. So, why do I do it? Jeff Gordon, that's why! I've watched his career from the start, 1992-2009. I was impressed with his driving, his composure, and attitude on, and off the track. A fan until he removes his helmet. I have been a Jeff fan from the first time i watched him race, I had been an avid Davey allison fan untill his death, I didn't watch nascar for a couple of years and one day i turned on the tv and flipped through the channels and happened accross a winston cup race and stopped for a moment and there was Dale SR. with a 24 car giving him the what for all around the track, the driver of the 24 was mirroing evey move that Dale made untill late in the race the 24 used one of the Dale tactics and passed Dale for the lead and won the race with only a fwew laps to go, that was the rebirth of my desire to watch nascar. I have watched Jeff for years and am an avid fan of Jeff and all of HENDRIX MOTOR SPORTS INC. Watch out for that 48 and that 5 car the kid is back Mark Martin, its a shame that Mark was'nt with Hendrix in his earlier prime. Good luck to all Hendricks drivers. You go gettum again Jeff
