The cars are in motion, and Geoffrey Miller is in Daytona, following all of the action of the Daytona 500.
You might not be getting the full live experience, the roar of the engines, the drama in the air, but you can follow Geoffrey's updates live from the race with FanHouse's Twitter (after the jump) and be closer to the track than anywhere else on the Internet. Lead changes, wrecks, weird sights in the stands -- none of it is off-limits for Geoffrey.

What is up with Jr this year?? He gives no interviews anymore seems to me he has lost the love of racing and his fans, so sad his season is starting off like this his fans wait and keep waiting.
I'm sitting here at home watching the race and heard that due to some weather conditions, they may call the race. If they reach 100 laps, that is, it would be official end to the race. What?! Can't handle a little rain?!! Slap some rain tires on it and finish the other 100 laps! This is one of the reasons I don't watch Nascar any more. One is the stupid rules they throw out. Then, there's the rain. What I really hate is when they win a race under a caution.
ernhardt needs to grow up. if things dont go his way he takes revenge. he s an idiot
what would you do if it was you ask youself
Jr. has gone insane today. Vickers is an idiot for blocking like that with 70 to go, but you can't wreck people like that on a super speedway. Holy crap Little E cool down. Too many mistakes today.
Vickers was working to hold his spot as the first car one lap down. He did nothing at all wrong. Whinehardt just demonstrated (again) what a no talent hack he really is.
Jr. took the blame and at least he was man enough to take the blame. ACCIDENTS HAPPEN.. Vickers should not have tried to push him in the grass. He was trying to get back up and my opinion is Vickers let off the gas for a second.
jr's a D1CK !!!!
JR'S A D1CK!!!!
Earnhart Jr. dids to be ban from NASCAR racing for the season for that stupid move.He is not the driver everyone things he is or he thinks he is.
Jr is no different than any other driver,if it had been Jimmy Johnson or Jeff Gordon no one would have said anything but since it was Jr it's always his fault, they have picked everything he has done today. He's my driver if never wins another race. GO DALE,JR
They Have lights at Daytona if it starts raining then red flag the race. But do not end it. People pay good money to go to Daytona. People who watch it at home can watch it till Midnight to finish 500 hundred miles. FINISH THE RACE.
All you idiots flaming junior for this need to watch and LISTEN to the replay of the incident. Junior was off the gas, he had a run on Vickers, Vickers blocked him, Junior tried to get back in line and caught him, simple racing incident between two guys fighting for the lucky dog postion!
I agree I'm a HUGE Jr fan he did nothing wrong
Where is Junior's 5-lap penalty for doing the same thing Lefler did yesterday,Nascar's little puppet.
Well, Dale Jr. you have screwed this race up real good byt turning into Vickers and causing ten cars to crash, including my favorite, Kyle Busch, who had led most of the way. I guess this is what you do when you want to make up a lap you moron. I will never buy anything you pitch on TV and I have nothing but pity for such an unpreofessional driver. Thanks for nothing dimwit, I hope you get sanctioned by Nascar.
KYLE BUSCH THE WORST DRIVER OUT THERE HE WILL WRECK ANYONE TO WIN TALK ABOUT DIRTY IT GETS NO BETTER THEN HIM. HE SUCKS PAYBACK IS A MF!!
well look at the kettle calling the pot black i think your hero has caused his share of wrecks too
That's Bull $hit Nascar blows. What a stupid move. I would not leave that track until I got my money back from those crooks.
YOUR THE DICK
