Jimmie Johnson has a ginormous lead ahead with a single race to go in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.Will that be some bad karma for NASCAR's Mr. Incredible? Will Carl Edwards become just the third driver in all of NASCAR's history to overcome a points deficit in the season finale?
I doubt it and probably not. Johnson's gonna win this thing, no matter what Jack Roush says.
Regardless, there's plenty of super fun awesome story lines prepping themselves for Sunday's Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Can Jeff Gordon remember how to win? Will A.J. Allmendinger get payback from Tony Stewart after last week's shenanigans at Phoenix? Will anyone care that Johnson's three-straight titles are a huge freakin' accomplishment?
Whatever your NASCAR fancy is, we'll be serving it up all afternoon here on the 'House with our final live blog of the NASCAR season Sunday afternoon starting at 3:30pm/EST. Come for the whole thing or stop by for a few minutes to jump in on the good times for all.

There's always something special about this last race of the year, even the Chase is all but over. For a little more action, we do a Last 2 pool. Anyone else playing?

The best thing is we can all change the channel to football after the first hour of racing once the cheating pus wraps it up,and Homestead also has 22 thousand unpaid seats, real Nascar fans could care less. That dork is definitely not no Cale Y.

Dear ABC,
After a full week with no apology to NASCAR or its fans, I just want to remind you network morons how we suppliers and sponsors feel about last week's "Big Switch.".
As a NASCAR supplier, we pay good money to advertise our products on those racecars. An occassional rain delay or caution flag may be a nuisance to you, but it's during these particular delays in the action that our products and company name receives its best exposure!!!
Believe me, we will do everything we can to make sure that NASCAR opts out of their contract with you band of thieves for the upcoming 2009 racing season!!!
The LAST thing NASCAR needs in this economy is to lose its sponsors!!! Adios Amigos!!!

Please identify what sponsor you are, if you are one. ABC did the right thing! Thank you ABC for taking this piece of crap fixed supposed"racing" off of your channel. At least training an animal takes more skill than fixing an over ruled "race". If you are a sponsor you should be sending a letter to nascar for ruining what used to be a fun to watch sport. I now watch football and just check the "race". I wish I had the e-mail of the sponsors so I could tell them how they are wasting their money! The fans on most blogs hate what nascar has become. The sponsors need to know this. Jimmie is NOT like or better than Cale! Cale worked on his car, there were 43 different teams and anyone could win, they had real cars, different tracks, no lucky dog, chase, restrict racing plates, pit road speed limits etc... Go back to real racing and see who wins!

From all of us that TIVO'ed or taped last week's race, I'd like to publically say "ARE YOU KIDDING ME ABC!"
Would you ever consider doing something that dumb during the Superbowl?
I'm glad no one missed AFV starting on time.
