Kasey Kahne Wrecked Off-Track at Texas

Kasey Kahne may be a highly talented Sprint Cup Series driver, but put him on the roadways of America and he's just like you or me.

From the NASCAR Scene:

According to police reports, Kahne ran into the back of a car driven by a 17-year-old woman as traffic slowed on Highway 114 near the track. No one was injured and neither driver was charged in the accident. Both vehicles had to be towed away from the scene.

I'm glad their both OK, but do you think those crazy Allstate mom's were involved?

Kahne, according to the article, was driving a Dodge Durango "leased" from a dealership near Texas Motor Speedway. That's likely a perk of being a Dodge driver.

I'd really like to know, though, if the "17-year-old" driver had any clue who Kahne was. Can you imagine that phone call home if she happened to be a NASCAR fan?

"Hey Dad. Uh, I've been in accident, but it's totally sweet because Kasey Kahne hit me!"

That's a story I'd be proud to tell.

I love this first line of that about the Allstate gals. I am so glad no one was hurt. I am just having a hard time believing that the female driver (with NASCAR in town) didn't know who Kasey was. ROFLMAO

Emerson, it's not certain that KASEY CANE was drinking and driving,unless you know better. Maybe, he was high on qualudes and driving, just like ERIN DYKE.

Sorry to burst people's bubbles here...but what is the big attraction to Kasey Kahne? I don't get it. He looks like a baby (and I am only 31). He hasn't done anything spectacular and he's been in Sprint Cup for how many seasons now? In my opinion, he is one of the most over-hyped drivers in NASCAR!

I think this is Kasey's problem. He has too many women. The three commercial chicks must have been in his craddle by now. That and add drinking to the mix and he can't tell if he's reaching for a steering wheel, bra-snap or the small of a woman's back. Come on Kasey, "YOU CAN DO IT"!!!

KASEY KANE, has had a flash good year in 2006 and for a while i tought he could won the championship.
Than,6 wins and he did not even make the chase.The way things have been going at EVERHAM it may take to 2016 for KASEY to contend for the champion. again.
