No that i dislike JEFF BOURBON, as matter of fact congratulation to his win.
Nevertheless we all witnessed SISSY HARWICK knocking
STEWART out of his first season win.If it would been TONY wrecking somebodyalce,these pages would be sparkling with antistewart comments,as has been happening for ages.Where are the judges of fareness now ah? wHERE ARE THE TONY BASHERS NOW DEFENDING TONY AH?. Does not work for me!.

Anna, perhaps you were watching a different race at the end. In case you missed it, Stewart, Hamlin, and Earhardt Jr stayed out on the track with 112 lap tires while the rest of the field came in and took fresh rubber. None of those three had a chance and it showed on the restart. Stewart was in second and moving backwards when he was wrecked. While it is easy to blame the wreck, Tony was getting smoked. Out of the three drivers that stayed out, Tony was wrecked while getting passed, Hamlin had a fuel pickup problem and was left in the dust on the next restart, and Jr was passed by four drivers in only 5 laps.
Blame this one on the crew chiefs if you have to point a finger. I am sure it was a difficult call to make. Who knows, had the front two or three drivers come in I am sure some of the ones further back on the lead lap would have stayed out.

You said yourself,tony was 2nd, that means harwick was third andhe was behind the 20.Even if tony was getting passed by some other drivers he still could finished in the top 5 or6 instead of 14th.
HARWICK could still finish 2nd passing tony without wrecking him,(after all they are good friends and tony drives the #33 car HARWICK OWNED in the busch series; i thought they were friends?).HARWICK was in the back area of the left quarter panel of the 20
and deliberately spinned stewart against the wall
with the right corner end of the front fender.
AFTER the race while interviewed on MRN RADIO,the punk even invited stewart to come down to his pit and fight.Harwick even excused the wreck on a payback from last year in indianapolis whwn in the last lap of that race, tony sideswiped harwick and
won the race.(sideswiped,not wrecked him, sissy harwick only got loose for 10 inches but kept on going)>That's the race end i saw and yes,i know the
3 drivers were on old tire.

Well Joe, I will grant you this. had Tony not been wrecked he probably would have still finished in the top 5. He was not going to win this time though. He certainly did not deserve to be put into the wall. That is one of the really unfortunate aspects of Nascar, the fact that a driver can get wiped out by another driver that messes up. The interesting part of it is that usually the inocent party gets the worst end of it while the guy that lost control of his car actually gets saved by slidng up into another car instead of the wall.
If you look at the replay of the event, the Harvick fans can probably claim Stewart ran him down onto the apron which is what made Harvick get loose in the first place. So, by that logic, Stewart is the one that caused the wreck after all. Maybe that is what Tony meant after the race when he accepted the blame. I doubt it but for the Harvick fans maybe it works.

You think my posts are annoying???? Not only are yours extremely long, immature, but they make no coherent sense at all. Have you ever heard of freaking spell check for God's sake or better yet, proof reading?

First off: Enough with the freaking Tony bashing! No one is Tony bashing nor have they been in some time. In fact, it's been the opposite, so GET OVER IT ALREADY! And you refer to Jimmie Johnson, my favorite driver as "Saint Jimmie," fine that's your opinion, although I think that's bashing.

Second, Burton deserved his win fair and square. He was running a top five car all day. It isn't his fault Harvick accidentally wrecked Stewart.

that was my main point; the 20 deserved at the least to finish in the top 5.
If jeff gordon would led over 200 laps like tony did
and than gets pushed in to the wall,harwick would pissed you off too.Harwick has done it to other drivers in the past. Ask GREG BIFFLE.

Ahhh...spring and the replies on the Nascar blog are heating up, headed towards full bloom. Bout' time. We were turning into Nascar with all our politically correct answers, and we all know how boring that is. Only rule....don't get too personal in trading insults, such as family or sexual preference barbs. Burton won, Tony cried, and the tires held up, so let's move on to other topics. Works for me.....

Don, I am glad you finally woke up from your nap. I could not agree more. I was getting way too PC myself. I was hoping to last until mid season but I am like a junkie going through withdrawal at this point. In fact I am ready to start bashing my own fav, Jeff Gordon. What the hell is he doing?
The reason nobody is beating up on Tony is that he has not really openned his mouth and put his foot in it yet. The only thing that comes close is the tire thing which some people where actually dumb enough to climb on board with him on. Everyone had the same tires. Sorry you could not go into the corners as fast as you wanted to and sorry you could not mash the gas as hard coming out of the corners but nobody else could either.

Anna, glad to see your still keeping your FBI files on everyone and I just love the way you distort what U seem to see and hear.

1. Yes Harvick wrecked Tony and addmitted it as soon as he got out of his car, He manned up and did the right thing. Tony and Harvick are fine, the only fighting reference was to comments made by a spotter saying he was going to kick Harvick's ass but never showed up when invited.

2. Montoya kicking Harvick's butt.......hmmmmmmm I don't know what the hell U where watching but they both kept their helmets on and never looked like they really wanted to take it to the next level.

3. It's Harvick who has had a history with biffles driving not the other way around and at least Harvick had the gusto to leap over the Biffs car and grap him by the throat. No helmet on mind U.

4. And please....at least get your jaded facts clear, Harvick was leading the brickyard when Tony messed up, pushed his fender in which screwed up the aero on the car relegating him to a 7th place finish, and even though he probably would not have won the race he was leading at the time and would have at least finished 2nd. Tony was 2nd at bristol but would have been lucky to finish in the top 5 being on 100+ lap tires.

Back to the subject at hand. I originally thought Harvick caused the accident but after seeing a repeat today in slow motion, it did appear that Tony got a little loose and came down while Harvick checked up. Regardless, Brad is right. Tony would not have won that race. He should have pitted with all the other front runners. It was a bad call by Zippy and yes, it did cost him the win. Nobody else to blame there but himself and his own team.

And to still finish 7th after that wreck, impressive indeed. Tony isn't mad about what happened, he said as much after the race. He and Harvick are friends and Harvick apologized immediately after getting out of his car. They both "manned up." Tony's not crying for once, so why are his fans? Baffles me (head shaking).

And Mike, you are right....What the h-e-double hockysticks is up with our boys Jeff & Jimmie? What a crappy year thus far. I am bummin.

Hey Kim, I would have got back to you sooner but it's been a little heck----tic to say the least since my return from Maui. I too am really baffled by Chad's confusion over the setups on JJ's car being they where so successful last year but I'm sure they will figure it out,,,,,,maybe they should ask Jr. and Tony E. for a little help?.....Just kidding LOL .....Jr. has enough stress but seems to be holding his own for now. And can I say just friggin WOW....8 out of the first 10 comments....AND YOUR AHHHHNOYING.....PAAAAHFRIGGINLEASE! ! !

And you may be on to something with the Jr. thing, even if you were joking. :-) He is certainly having a better year than his teammates are. His team is doing something right. Martinsville is next week and Jimmie is usually successful on the short tracks, so I am hoping for a comeback. But then again, I was hoping for that last week, too.

So glad to see that you don't think I am annoying. I was starting to develop a complex!!!! LOL. :-)

Kim. Jr is still doing things exactly as his team always has. The only difference is they have actually finished five in a row. They still make the same mistakes at the end of the race that end up costing them a chance to win. I would hazard to say that is the crew chiefs fault. Jimmie and Jeff are the ones that are not repeating the performance of last year. I am not going to go into panick mode until after 16 weeks or so in.
