The air is still thick between Kasey Kahne and David Stremme since the Richmond incident that led Kahne to throw out that Stremme "fat and out of shape" and Stremme to lob back with "he has his own mental problems."Both Dodge drivers showed up to tape a commercial Wednesday and reportedly didn't speak to each other during the entire eight-hour shoot.
Kahne:
"Yeah, that was a little awkward. We're trying to get some sponsors and some big deals going on right now, and I don't want to screw that up by getting in a fist fight or anything like that with David Stremme."And here I thought Kahne was a lover, not a fighter.
Stremme:
"If he wants to act like a high school kid, then he can. We obviously have different opinions about what happened on the race track, and I think I'm in the right because there's a lot more people supporting my side of it.
"I think he has problems with a lot of people. I don't know. I am here to race and not worry about his problems."
Kahne:
"I've always had a hard time racing with him. I don't know why. When I'm around his car we just have problems. Racing with David hasn't ever worked for me."
Sounds personal to me.

I would have to agree, TGOM. This sounds real personal; more like "off the track" issues becoming "on the track" issues....
My money is on this isn't about the wreck at all....

Mental problems, Stremme could only dream of having mental problems like Kasey. Kasey is a class act. I love that Kasey isn't going to let this jerk talk trash on him. Face the simple facts-David Stremme will never have the popularity, money, driving skills or success that Kasey Kahne has. Im sure money is on Stremme to win, when you are fat and out of shape, you have weight on your side. Although, Kasey is much faster, so he could "run" away.
I am loving this feud!

Kasey, the person who was a lapdown, who wrecked the 8th place car, and then called him fat, is a class act, but David is a horrible person?
Maybe if HALF the attention was given to David that was given to Kasey by the media, he'd be more popular, he's already been more successful this season...

Stremme can be really weird. I mean, I don't know the guy, but when he's saying Kasey has "mental problems," and he's not gonna play these "high school games" with him, he's being kind of a hypocrit. Just talking about it is putting him in the loop of acting like a high schooler. Hey, buddy, if you want to stay out of it you should always say "no comment." Don't just toot the horn even more by saying how much you're not going to talk about it. But, then again, I'm a Kahne fan and always will. Maybe I'm biased, but that's just my opinion.
