Earnhardt Jr. Gets .51% Ownership

Uh, unless I'm really bad at math, I think you mean 51%, not .51% (which is less than 1%). If Junior settled out for .51%, someone should seriously have a talk with his 3rd grade math teacher.

It's .51% of Lowe's Motor Speedway, not DEI. Humpy Wheeler did it to poke fun of the whole DEI contract issue.

Jr should have part of his dads company that Sr built. Not Someone that married in to the name. If it wasn't for Sr. there would be no DEI. Trease has no right to be greedy. Its more Jr. then hers. Sr. would want his son to part of something he built.So Trease must make the right choice or she will be in the spotlight and she does not like it. She has done a great job running DEI but its time to move on and share.

i guess all of us jr fans need to do what willie nelsons fans did and start sending our $$$ to the wicked stepmother and buy jr his share. he should not have to pay for it anyway.does teresa know what 51% of nothing is ? that's what she would have if jr left.

i agree with comment #5...dale sr built DEI for his KIDS and his kids only..he had made that quite clear well before he died..teresa dosent even go to 1/2 of the races what kinda owner is that..she dosent care a thing about DEI only the money she gets from it..dale jr should have control of DEI after all he is the one that could best run it and has the best interest of DEI in mind..

why didn't sr. leave a will stating that the kids get a percentage: he didn't so everything else is just bullshit. teresa should consider maybe offering 10% to start with 5% every year after that till it reaches to the max of40% and that's all. if you'll notice junior isn't that great of a driver by himself but he is riding his dad's coat-tail a lot and letting the other driver's tell him what he should demand something that isn't his. she would be a damn carzy woman if she gave controlling interest of a company that she and her late husband started away to someone that doesn't have a damn nickel invested in the company outside of being another driver for that company. junior:stop demanding something that isn't your's and start earning it on the tract thru winning races and that will help dei more than anything.

It's good to see the fans really pay attention to what is being said. Humpy Wheeler has nothing to do with DEI and is taking the piss out of the whole situation. Good on ya Humpy!!!
