Jimmie Johnson is already racing for the championship.
He went flying by my KOBALT Tools 500 pick with just 3 laps to go to score his 25th career win. Ugh! At least when Tony Stewart wins we get to see him climb the fence.
C'mon, Jimmie, do something! Anything.
Ok ... I gotta give it to him, he does do a pretty badass burnout. But really? If we're going to have to put up with this many wins, at least give us something to look forward to.
If I was less certain about Smoke's desire to put The Home Depot #20 back in victory lane at Atlanta Motor Speedway--or anywhere else--I'd be working on some theory that NASCAR conspired to ensure that the race sponsor's sponsored car on their pet team would win.

The reason there is as many Jimmie Johnson haters out there is because he is doing his job and is the best at it. So stop hating! He does his job on the track, it's his job to try entertain you the after race.

It seemed like he was the main one celebrating when he hopped out of the car yesterday. His team members didn't seem near as enthusiastic. Was I the only one that noticed that?
Didn't Jimmie used to drive the checkered flag around the track in celebration?
Myra - My personal dislike of JJ has nothing to do with him being good at his job. I'll admit he is a great driver and HMS/Knaus give him wonderful cars at times. I find the "holier than thou" and "it's not my fault" attitudes really aggravating. He refuses to admit when he does wrong, even when it is blatantly obvious that it is his fault. He also seems to have this attitude that he is the best and that he must throw it in everyone's faces every chance he gets (and I'm not talking about on-track performance when I say that). These are my personal opinions, though. I can't speak for all the haters out there.
